Can I still access the conference platform after IAS 2021?
Yes, the conference content will be available on the conference platform for registered delegates until Wednesday, 18 August, 10:00 (CEST) and after that, through the Programme on the IAS 2021 website.
Can I receive continuing medical education (CME credits) for participation in IAS 2021?
Yes, CME credits can be obtained for participation in the sessions marked with “(CME)” in the session title. Find more information on how to obtain CME credits here.

What is the IAS 2021 Berlin Hub?
IAS 2021 remains virtual, but due to the easing of COVID-19 restrictions in Germany, the IAS, with the German AIDS Society (DAIG), will host a two-day in-person meeting in Berlin on 19 and 20 July.
The IAS 2021 Berlin Hub will feature five panel discussions focusing on the HIV response in Germany and neighbouring countries. This programme, which will also be available virtually, can be viewed in the Berlin+ Channel within the online programme.
Attendance at the Berlin Hub is reserved for registered IAS 2021 delegates living in Germany or its neighbouring countries. Eligible delegates will be provided with further information about the Berlin Hub upon registration.

What COVID-19 measures are in place?
For delegates
All in-person participants must be able to show proof of ONE of the following:
• Current negative PCR test, taken within 72 hours of the start of the Berlin Hub
• Complete COVID-19 vaccination (both doses) at least two weeks before the start of the Berlin Hub
• Proof of a previous COVID-19 infection within the previous six months.
If a delegate is feeling unwell ahead of the Berlin Hub, they are strongly advised not to attend.
At the venue
All in-person participants will be required to sign in on arrival each day and will be assigned a seat. When not seated, participants must wear an FFP2 mask.
Who is exhibiting at IAS 2021?

How can I access the exhibition?
All delegates who have registered for IAS 2021 will have access to the virtual exhibition through the conference platform.
When is the exhibition accessible?
The exhibition is open from Sunday, 18 July, 10:00 until Wednesday, 21 July, 16:00 (CEST). Booth staffing is at each exhibitor’s discretion.
After the official closing of the conference, the virtual exhibition will remain accessible to delegates until Wednesday, 18 August, 10:00 (CEST). The respective exhibitor will choose the content and interactive features available within each exhibition booth during this time.
Can I interact with exhibitors?
Yes. Several tools allow you to interact with exhibitors: text chat, video chat, video room, submit a question via the contact form and schedule a meeting.
Where can I find the IAS booth?
The IAS booth can be accessed through the “Visit the IAS Booth” or the “Visit the Exhibition” button on the homepage of the conference platform. In the IAS booth, you will be able to chat with IAS staff and learn more about the IAS’s work, join conversations with IAS Members from around the world, and enjoy special screenings of “It’s a sin”, a popular television miniseries about the early years of the AIDS crisis in the United Kingdom.

I am accredited as media. How can I access the media centre?
If you are accredited as media, you can access the media centre through the conference platform by clicking on the “Media centre” button on the homepage or the “Media centre” icon on the top navigation bar.
What content will be available for media on the conference platform?
The media centre will contain information for registered media and provide access to press conferences, press releases, abstract embargo information, contact information and more.
Will there be a press conference during IAS 2021?
Yes. There will be an opening press conference on Thursday, 15 July, at 15:00-16:00 (CEST). The link to attend the virtual press conference will be sent to registered media via email.
